- What is belodged.com about?
belodged.com works on the principle of mutual responsibility and understanding. It enables registered members to search for private contacts that offer a place to spend the night. In order that your worldwide travel will be easy on the budget...
- How does belodged.com work?
Interested travelers join belodged.com and offer accommodations for likeminded people. Every member of the belodged.com community can look for contacts or a place to stay all over the world.

- Who can join belodged.com?
There are no entrance hurdles! Everyone can join, provided you can do the following: In order that the idea of a joined community works you will have to provide a place to stay.
That's it! And the more people join the more interesting it will be to travel to fascinating places and meet new people.
- What can I expect from a worldwide accommodation offer?
Your host offers an appropriate place to sleep. Naturally the use of bath/shower should be guaranteed. Ask about the details: How many nights you will stay, what the accommodation is and things of that nature; talk to your host. Probably they will even offer some breakfast.
Most will even volunteer as a tour guide for the area - or at least have some interesting insider tips.
- What will it cost?
You don't have to pay a dime ;-)! Not for the registration with belodged.com, nor the search for potential hosts. The stay at the travel destination of your dreams is, of course, free as well.
- What information do I have to share?
belodged.com needs your town/city (not a specific address!) and the name of the closest large city along with your chosen username, email address and gender. Information on pets should be shared as well (allergies). And none of your potential guests will mind if you share some information about your accommodations!
- What information will be made public or passed on?
The answer to your question is simple: NON that would identify you. The first contact happens anonymously with your username. Also, you will decide if you want to answer a request anonymously or if you want to accept a guest.
belodged.com will not pass on your personal information to third parties without your consent.
- Does belodged.com give warranties for accommodations/guests/hosts?
Due to protection of privacy and the solidarity principle, belodged.com is not able to provide guarantees of any kind about the accommodations / guests / hosts.
So here it is again: Talk to each other, show mutual respect and responsibility in your exchange! A SPAM and warning system is in place. If a member reaches a certain level he/she will automatically be deleted.
- Does belodged.com offer safety guarantees during traveling?
belodged.com offers the search and the contacting with other belodged.com users. Once you started contact belodged.com leaves it up to you on how you continue your exchange. You will have to decide how careful and thorough you are in the exchange of personal information before and during traveling.
belodged.com has no means to control host or guest. For that reason belodged.com cannot offer any guarantees or safety instructions.
For female travelers and hosts belodged.com suggests carefully gathering your information, planning ahead and possibly not traveling alone.
- How and when can I cancel my membership?
You can cancel at any time - just write an e-mail from the account you used to join and your user name to goodbye@belodged.com. Your personal information will be automatically deleted.
- Do I have to join or cancel in person?
No! belodged.com works fast and easy. All information and interactions are managed exclusively online.
- Why are there ads on the website?
belodged.com is a community without joining fees and paying members. But there are certain amount of expenses to host the site and to run the community around belodged.com fast and smooth.
We do not employ members of the community for free.
For that, we need financial means, sponsoring and ads will provide these.
Personal information of members won't be sold! The legal background in order to provide the finances are granted through PanUnique AG, whose board of directors are also the founders of belodged.com. With this organization we have the maximum of security and convenience to the advantage of all members.
