belodged.com exists as the follower of globiwalk - and old student project from 1999. Now we have the time and fun to bring this again to success ;o). So we do not try to be a copy - we just fullfill an old dream - and this in main parts completly in an other way.
mickymaus - Great profile link. But THAT is one of the main differences. We wanna take care of your and yours friends privacy. This link is public. Many users using the same username in other communities too - and there together with the real name too. So - and together with this link your privacy profile comes more and more public. Guess what such a profile is worth for an advertising agency
, your insurance, for a criminal ... . Many of members will write down when they will be on holiday - so - they know when your home is empty
This is a very huge disucssion - how much you will make public, how much you need to know from each other (public or just for people who are in the adress book etc.). We are still working on it. Yes - you will get on belodged.com more possibilities too - but we do not wanna fullfill the dream about a crystalline profile.
