i am just a new member, but why cant you have an ebay system of stars, ie the person who travels gets marked on how tidy they kept the lodgings, their friendliness etc an the person supplying the accomm gets marked also on friendliness and how close their description of lodgings were.
I mean if I got told I was going to an ensuite and then had to share this might be something I marked down, not that I mind sharing, just that I would have been told something different.
I think this way everyone would get a positive if they deserved it, all it would be is a rating for future travellers and hosts to consider.

Perhaps the host just didn't meant to put you into a disapointed accomodation. It would have been just last minute change that the host might hard to avoid or to provide update information. I would like to get finalised because of that if I was the host. I meant everone is so busy now days...as long as he explained/clarified you on your arrival about the changes. After all, you still have a lovely free accomodation. I hope you have had lovely one anyway. I hope I can make you feel better.

Right - something like a rating or feedback system should be in place. So it is already: The here so called guestbook. Check out >> Member Navigation >> Your Profile >> Guestbook. But as we see this is not very much in use. We will point this out in our news(letter) and other communications. Back to ebay stars. Did you heard about the huge problem ebay has with his "star-system". We call it "feedback farms". You create ten users for your self. Then you rate yourself with these accounts ... But yes .... we are still "brainstorming" about that. Any suggestion or discussion is helpful. Just post it here - it does not hurt  Follow the blog on http://myblog.belodged.com - within the next 10 days we will publish some more ideas about this .. and other things ;o). hi I'm new to be lodged forgive the translation but it is all done by google translator on the star system of ebay as dj said travel is not a good idea and is a feedback system is obsolete and useless
